Environmental Studies is an interdisciplinary program within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Environmental Studies majors, in consultation with a faculty advisor, devise a program of study comprised of courses in Environmental Studies and relevant courses from other departments. An updated curriculum requirements guide is available online at www2.ku.edu/~kuesp.
Electives chosen by students and their faculty advisor should form an integrated program of study with emphasis in one of the established tracks. You must have your electives approved by a faculty advisor in the program, who must sign an elective approval form. You should keep a copy of this form, and return the original to the Environmental Studies office. Please consult your faculty advisor on availability of electives this semester.
Core and supporting core courses offered for the semester are listed below. Enrollment information for cross-referenced courses listed below can be found under the appropriate department listed elsewhere in this timetable.
Stated prerequisites must be completed before enrollment in any environmental studies course. Students are first notified and then administratively disenrolled from courses for which they do not meet prerequisites. The Environmental Studies Program reserves the right to terminate administratively the enrollment of any student who misses the first class meeting. |
